2016 is here and we hope you had a great 2015 and lots of fun over the festive period. Now is the time of year that people struggle on with their New Year’s resolutions and whilst we aren’t making any major changes to our lives here at CasinoTudor, there are certainly some big improvements we’d like to see from online casinos around the world.
We only work with the best online casinos around but even the best can improve, whilst we also have a message or two for the less scrupulous real money online casinos out there.
Player Protection
We’ll start with those less than perfect casinos that we would generally advise you to avoid. We stick to the top, most reputable casino and slots sites around but if you’ve ever opted for a bonus that seemed too good to be true and then you have been stung, this one’s for you.
Players need more protection, through ring-fenced funds, stricter licensing and perhaps most of all, through meaningful regulation that can actually help players who have been hit, be that through data leaks, slow payment or, worst of all, no payment.
The world of online casinos is BIG business and should be a thoroughly reputable industry, yet some casinos are still allowed to act like it’s the Wild West.
Full Legalization
It’s obvious to many that the main thing stopping full legalization of online casinos is the vested interests of land-based casinos. This has to stop and in a country famed for the importance it places on liberty and individual self-determination, it’s crazy that we can’t all do what we want in the comfort of our own homes without having to worry about grey areas of the law.
Bonuses That Are Fair For All
The best online casinos have bonuses that act as incentives for players to join, give the player a significant advantage but aren’t so generous as to leave casinos open to bonus abusers. The latter can ultimately lead to the failure of an online casino but some sites have gone too far the other way, creating bonus terms that are so complex they can barely be understood and offering the player no real hope of walking away with any of the bonus funds. Fairness for all should be the mantra for 2016!
